SkillEgg Terms of Use

Welcome to SkillEgg. By accessing or using skillegg.com or any SkillEgg mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy (together the Agreement ). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India including the Information Technology Act, 2000 ; the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021; and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 .

1. Eligibility and Registration

To use SkillEgg, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age; OR
• Be between 13 and 18 years of age with verifiable parent or guardian consent.
• Users under 13 years of age are not permitted to register or use the Platform.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. SkillEgg is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

2. Courses and Content

Content means all courses, video lectures, PDFs, assignments, quizzes, and supplementary materials published on the Platform, whether pre-recorded or live.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view Content for your own personal, non-commercial learning only. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any Content.
• Create derivative works from any Content.
• Share your login credentials or course access with any other person.
• Use screen-recording tools, bots, or scraping software to download Content.
• Resell or sub-license access to any Content in any manner.

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate suspension of your account without refund, and may attract legal liability under applicable Indian copyright and IT laws.

3. Payments and Refunds

Certain courses on the Platform require payment of a fee ( Course Fee ). All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Payment: Payments are processed through third-party gateways such as Razorpay. SkillEgg does not store your card or banking details.

Refund Policy: Please refer to our separate Refund Policy available on the Platform. In general, once course access is granted, fees are non-refundable except as required by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or as expressly stated in our Refund Policy.

GST: Applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be charged as per Indian tax regulations on digital education services.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, trademarks, logos, course material, and software on the Platform are the exclusive intellectual property of SkillEgg or its licensors, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999 of India.

You do not acquire any ownership rights to any Content by accessing the Platform. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution of SkillEgg's intellectual property is a punishable offence under Indian law.

Instructors who create content for SkillEgg assign all intellectual property rights in their course material to SkillEgg as per their individual Instructor Agreement.

5. User Conduct and Community Standards

By using the Platform, you agree not to:

• Upload or share any content that is abusive, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or illegal.
• Harass, bully, or threaten other learners or instructors.
• Spam the Platform with unsolicited messages or promotional links.
• Impersonate any person, company, or entity.
• Engage in fraudulent activity or attempt to extract personal information from other users.
• Attempt to hack, overload, or interfere with the Platform's infrastructure.
• Post any content promoting terrorism, violence, or illegal activity.

SkillEgg reserves the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these standards, without prior notice and without refund.

6. Finance Content Disclaimer

Certain courses on SkillEgg cover personal finance, investing, and financial planning topics. These are provided for educational and informational purposes only .

Important: Nothing on SkillEgg constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any financial product or security. SkillEgg is not a registered investment advisor, portfolio manager, or stockbroker under SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) regulations. Any financial decisions you make based on content learned on this Platform are entirely at your own risk. Please consult a SEBI-registered financial advisor before making investment decisions.

7. Public Forums and Learner Content

The Platform may offer discussion forums or comment sections. Participation is voluntary. By posting in any forum, you grant SkillEgg a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and display your content on the Platform.

You are solely responsible for any content you post. SkillEgg is not liable for user-generated content but reserves the right to moderate or remove any content that violates these Terms.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services such as payment processors. SkillEgg is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or services of any third-party website. Accessing such links is at your own risk.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. SkillEgg makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any Content. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Indian law, SkillEgg shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform or its Content. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the Course Fee paid by you for the relevant course.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

SkillEgg collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in compliance with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 , and applicable provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) .

12. Modifications to Terms

SkillEgg reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

For consumer grievances, you may also approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

14. Grievance Officer
